Entity Comparison

Entity Comparison lets you select multiple nodes on the knowledge graph (companies, technologies, papers, patents, etc.) and automatically generate a comparison table across different perspectives. In short, it automatically builds a side-by-side comparison table for multiple subjects using the same set of viewpoints.

What You Can Do

Multi-perspective Comparison

Automatically organize selected entities by viewpoints such as materials, cost, regulations, and market applications. Surface differences that are easy to overlook.

Source-backed Answers

Each cell includes links to the original sources. Verify the basis of any information immediately.

Layout Toggle

Switch between entities as columns or rows. Choose whichever layout is most readable for your purpose.

Graph Integration

Jump directly to the target node on the knowledge graph from the comparison results to view detailed information.

How to Use

1. Select Entities

Select multiple nodes on the knowledge graph to activate Entity Comparison. Choose two or more entities such as companies, technologies, papers, or patents.

2. Review the Comparison Table

The AI collects information about the selected entities from the knowledge graph and automatically generates a perspective-by-perspective comparison table. Each cell shows information and source links.

3. Use the Results

Each row (or column) in the table represents a viewpoint. Sparse viewpoints are hints for white spaces in your research. Use the comparison results to guide further investigation or decision-making.

Common Use Cases

Competitive Analysis

Line up multiple competitors across the same viewpoints to analyze differentiation opportunities and market entry gaps.

Technology Selection

Compare candidate technologies or materials by cost, performance, and regulatory compliance to identify the best option.

Literature Review

Compare research methods, results, and open questions across multiple papers to plan the direction of your next research.

Investment Decisions

Cross-compare investment candidates by financial, market, and technology dimensions to support evidence-backed decisions.

Proposal Documents

Use comparison results directly in team or executive presentations. Source links ensure credibility.

When Entities Are Limited If the knowledge graph has few entities, the information available for comparison will also be limited. We recommend first enriching the graph using the research agent, then using Entity Comparison for deeper analysis.
