December 2025

Plan Mode Added (December 28)

Plan Mode lets you review a research plan before the AI starts investigating. Instead of diving straight into research, the AI first presents a step-by-step plan. You can review and adjust it, then kick off the research with confidence. When it’s useful:
  • When exploring an unfamiliar topic and you want to agree on the approach first
  • For complex, multi-angle research where order and scope matter
  • When you want to align on direction before the AI gets to work

AI Recalls What It Has Already Learned (December 28)

When you ask a question, Snorbe now automatically searches through your accumulated research history for relevant information and brings it into the current conversation. When it’s useful:
  • When you want to build on past research rather than start from scratch
  • When you have a growing knowledge base and want to make use of it

Graph and Chat Side by Side (December 28)

The knowledge graph and the chat panel can now be displayed side by side. You can explore the graph visually while giving instructions in the chat at the same time. When it’s useful:
  • When you want to ask follow-up questions about a specific node in the graph
  • When you want to watch the graph update as research progresses

Approve AI Actions Before They Run (December 30–31)

You can now require the AI to ask for your approval before taking certain actions — such as browsing websites or saving information. When it’s useful:
  • When you want to stay in control and review what the AI is about to do
  • When you only want to manually confirm specific high-stakes steps

January 2025

X (Twitter) Search Added (January 1)

Real-time search on X (formerly Twitter) is now available. Tap into the latest trends and social conversations as part of your research. When it’s useful:
  • Tracking what’s trending right now
  • Understanding public reaction to a topic
  • Getting a pulse on what people are actually saying

AI Can Browse the Web Automatically (January 1)

The AI can now operate a web browser and navigate websites the way a person would — following links, reading pages, and collecting information. When it’s useful:
  • When the information you need is on a site that requires login
  • When content is loaded dynamically and hard to scrape directly
  • When the research involves forms or interactive elements

Images Are Read and Summarized Automatically (January 1)

When you upload images or share links containing images, the AI can now read and understand the visual content, turning it into usable information for your research. When it’s useful:
  • When a key document is a chart, diagram, or photo
  • When you want to extract text or data from an image
